the name s nylus :) im sixteen, malaysian and loving it.

life is like a rollercoaster, don t shoot me for the cheesiness. because, well, it is, isn't it? sometimes you get glittery confetti days, other times you just feel like one big pile of elephant poop. anyways, when life hands you lemons and all that. it s what friends, good movies and kitkat chunky s are for.

i think the world would be a better place if everybody could just learn to look at things diplomatically. i mean, instead of being hostile and defensive all the time, why don t we take a break and try to resolve issues over teh tarik and tosai instead?

exodus.

blogging s been on the backburner for some time. sorry folks! there s been so much going on lately i can barely find the time to (searching for suitable hyperbole here) pee (okay maybe not), let alone plonk my fanny down and churn out a proper post.

s matter of fact, im due to run off in about ten minutes. but here s group of bullet points about my week. read and decipher as you will!

  • walkman W800i - divine. utterly, completely divine. as cheryl and e wah will undoubtedly concurr. *eyes glaze over* it is the Great Phone! it is the Phone of the World! i would so bump off three trackers for it :P
  • cheryl s farewell- hitched a ride from a not-so-stranger (okay lah. you don t drive that horribly :P) from 1u with ks. twas nice seeing all the ex-form fives again! rowan and khu, the malaysian david copperfields, made me sit through a million and one card tricks which (as they proudly informed me) they d developed and honed during lectures in college. either they re really good, or im really naive.
  • durians durians durians. we don t even have to buy them; they just keep falling (metaphorically) into our welcoming laps :D on wednesday uncle daniel sent like 5 over from his farm in segamat. and mx s mum just came over with 3 more beauties all the way from pahang. ohh the creamy goodness <3 <3 i swear i will never understand people who dislike durians. or the way they smell. call yourselves malaysians! how can you not lurve that pungent pong?!
  • HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX WHICH HAS BEEN IN THE CINEMAS FOR APPROXIMATELY 48 HOURS WHICH I HAVE YET TO SEE SO WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HURRY UP AND BOOK TICKETS ALREADY KTNXBAI
  • HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS WHICH IS DUE FOR RELEASE IN A WEEK AND A DAY WHICH I AM POSITIVELY DYING TO LAY MY HANDS ON SO WILL SOMEONE KINDLY ARRANGE TO SEND ME TO TIMES BSC AT 6 A.M. ON THE 21ST OF JULY KTHXBAI
  • bumping into puan siti and joyce at bangsar on the way back from accounts. hahaa it was hilarious! she saw me (plus sheng and mx :P), balked, swerved and dived neatly into a nearby clotheshop. obviously hoping to avoid the inevitable. too bad joyce lacked her instant reflexes. :P 'puan ccccttttt! cikgu sedang buat apaaaa?'
  • su ann s report card, which reads like the Holy Book. mum s been waving it smugly in my face ever since she skipped home with it on thursday. it is extremely annoying. 'su ann participates actively and intelligently in class'. 'su ann shows an enthusiasm fr mathematical activities, and uses a variety of approaches to mathematical tasks involving larger numbers (e.g. cubes or hundred square). she is becoming a keen mathematician and competes with her peers to achieve success.' 'su ann displays a good general scientific knowledge and can offer suggestions and share ideas with the rest of the class during discussion.' 'su ann can locate and name the continents and oceans on a world map accurately'. bah. she even got praised by her p.e. teachers!!  'su ann is always well-prepared and takes an active role in Physical Education classes. she shows a natural ability in jumping events. well done.'

 -______-

i mean, honestly.
